We are seeking a reliable, organized, and self-directed office manager to run the day to day operations at Shine Bright Tutoring. 2+ years office or administrative experience required. Applicants should be efficient in using Mac/Apple products, Google Drive, and troubleshooting experience with computers, ipads, printers, etc. In this role, you will be communicating with parents, engaging with students, and monitoring tutors. Applicants must understand the importance of teamwork, possess great communication skills, and will be responsible for counting and reporting inventory and supplies, creating newsletters, maintaining student files, leading daily huddles for the team, and updating the student schedule. This individual will also relay messages that come to the office regarding our extended day program.

We are looking for dependable tutors committed to connecting with students to help build confidence and close academic gaps through guided instruction and in-depth tutoring. In this crucial contracted role, you’ll be teaching and assisting our students in a one-on-one and small group classroom setting. Tutors are expected to keep our students engaged throughout the 55-minute scheduled tutoring sessions. Tutors are expected to fully understand and be able to explain clearly the concepts in our students' curriculum. Tutors must communicate effectively with the other tutors, staff, and management team to ensure academic growth for our students. It is important that tutors are fluent readers, aware of various phonics skills, strong in comprehension, and can confidently solve and explain mathematical operations and logic up to algebra level. 

We are looking for energy-filled, responsible activity assistants that are confident in safely leading and instructing groups of students through  planned activities. The ideal candidate for this position is self-directed, self-motivated, timely, reliable and will adhere to policies and procedures to ensure student safety and program organization. 

We are looking for an activity coordinator to organize all activities and needed supplies for the daily operations of the extended day program. The activity coordinator is responsible for making sure activities are prepared and procedures are written clear and plain for activity leaders to follow. In this vital role, you'll be responsible for finding activities, creating activities, shopping and purchasing necessary supplies, providing a demo of each activity, identifying lesson goals, and outlining the details of the lesson in writing.  The ideal candidate for this position has leadership experience, works well independently, is self-motivated and creative. Additionally, the candidate should have childcare experience and knowledgeable about child safety and common child behavior. This candidate must have a flexible schedule and reliable source of transportation. Strong communication skills are required.
